The series is led by 17-year-old Annie Jacobson. Raised in New York City with her twin brother and loving adoptive father, Annie’s life takes a turn when she inherits her mysterious grandfather’s island in Canada. There, she finds new friends, budding romances and untold family secrets.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

At the time of this point, Sterling Point<\/em> has not been renewed for a second season. <\/p>\n

The first season ended on multiple cliffhangers, and creator\/co-showrunner Megan Park<\/strong> says there are multiple ways for the show to continue. <\/p>\n

Megan<\/strong> told TheWrap<\/a><\/em> that there’s “lots to mine” and “lots more characters” she wants to introduce should the show get a second season. <\/p>\n

However, she and the team have yet to map out what that would look like. <\/p>\n

\u201cSeason 1, you do spend a lot of time setting up the world, and then I do almost feel like if you get a season 2, it\u2019s when you relax and go deeper,\u201d Megan<\/strong> told Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>. \u201c[Ramona and Annie] switch lives, so there\u2019s a lot for a second season to come back to. And then there\u2019s also the whole thing about when Ramona turns 18, what\u2019s gonna happen with the property?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI would love to spend more time with the parents,\u201d she added. \u201cSpecifically, who\u2019s Oona\u2019s mom? It would be so interesting to bring that character in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ella Rubin <\/strong>stars as Annie Jacobson, with Keen Ruffalo<\/strong> playing her twin brother, Connor, and Jay Duplass<\/strong> as her adoptive father, Steven. Also in the cast are Am\u00e9lie Hoeferle<\/strong>, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie<\/strong>, Daniel Quinn-Toye<\/strong>, Bo Bragason<\/strong>, Jeffrey Dean Morgan<\/strong>, Nikko Angelo Hinayo<\/strong>, Mabel Strachan<\/strong>, Elle-Maija Tailfeathers<\/strong>, and Missi Pyle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
