14 August 2026<\/time>\n <\/p>\nKylie Kelce was “terrified” to get pregnant after suffering a miscarriage.<\/p>\n <\/p>\nKylie Kelce was afraid to get pregnant again<\/p>\n\nThe 34-year-old podcaster – who has daughters Wyatt, six, Elliotte, five, Bennett, three, and 16-month-old Finnley with husband Jason Kelce – experienced a loss before having her first child and even when she got pregnant again, she spent the first few months terrified she would miscarry again.<\/p>\n\nAnswering fan questions on her Not Gonna Lie podcast, Kylie said when asked if she was scared to get pregnant again after her miscarriage: \u201cYes, Sarah. I was terrified.<\/p>\n\n\u201cEven when we got pregnant, I then, every single week was looking up what are the chances that this pregnancy sticks?<\/p>\n \t\t\t<\/p>\n\n\u201cAnd then once I got into my second trimester, towards the end of my second trimester, because I was still Googling at the beginning of my second trimester, like, what are the chances I get to meet this baby? <\/p>\n\n“At the end of my second trimester, I flipped it. And I then asked the question, what are the chances that if I had the baby today that the baby could survive?\u201d<\/p>\n\nDuring her subsequent pregnancies, Kylie continued to feel worried about the possibility of another miscarriage, but she’s ultimately thankful she didn’t give up on her dreams of having a family.<\/p>\n\nShe said: \u201cI think that sits with you forever. I had those same feelings through the rest of my pregnancies. You experienced a loss and it\u2019s okay to have that grief sit with you. That is going to be something that might pop up when you least expect it.<\/p>\n\n\u201cBut if I had not tried again, I would not have Wyatt. So I think that sometimes you have to go at the hard thing and try again.\u201d <\/p>\n\nIn October, Kylie admitted the emotional pain of suffering a miscarriage “still hurts”.<\/p>\n\nSpeaking on her podcast, she said: \u201cI emphasise the fact that this still hurts after having four children, because it does. And it’s okay.”<\/p>\n\nThe podcaster told how everything “went into slow motion” when she learned during her doctor’s appointment that she had miscarried.<\/p>\n\nShe said: \u201cIt felt like everything went into slow motion. And they could not find the baby on the doppler.<\/p>\n\n\u201cI remember being like, \u2018Oh, there isn’t a heartbeat. You didn’t find one because there isn’t one.’<\/p>\n\n\u201cThey estimated that the baby had stopped developing between, I believe it was nine and 10 weeks. Essentially, I had had what you would refer to as a missed miscarriage. It means that your body did not realize that the pregnancy was no longer viable.\u201d<\/p>\n\nKylie was initially afraid to tell Jason because it was his birthday.<\/p>\n\nShe cried as she said: \u201cIt was a s***** day because it was Jason’s birthday. <\/p>\n\n\u201cI called my mom and told her that I couldn’t tell Jason because it was his birthday, which seems very silly.
