The fifth eviction of the season on Big Brother<\/strong><\/a><\/em> just took place and another houseguest has been sent home.<\/p>\n

During the Thursday, August 13, episode, filmed live on the CBS lot in Los Angeles, Julie Chen Moonves<\/strong><\/a> hosted the live BB Blockbuster competition and then the live vote.<\/p>\n

Big Brother<\/em> airs three episodes every week, as well as a new episode of recap show Big Brother Unlocked every other week.<\/p>\n

Lala was the Head of Household this week<\/h3>\n

Boutique Salesperson LaTrice Verrett<\/strong>, aka Lala<\/strong>, won the HOH competition this week and had to put three houseguests on the block for nomination to go home.<\/p>\n

The three nominees were Barrett Pfeiffer<\/strong>, Haley Thogmartin<\/strong>, and Chuk Anyanwu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kamu Kirk<\/strong> ended up winning the Power of Veto competition decided not to remove any of houseguests off the block.<\/p>\n

Haley won the BB Blockbuster competition<\/h3>\n

Each Thursday night, there is a BB Blockbuster competition before the eviction. The three final nominees compete against each other for a chance to be saved.<\/p>\n

Haley<\/strong> won and was taken off the nomination block, leaving the final two nominees as Barrett<\/strong> and Chuk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Chuk was evicted from the house<\/h3>\n

Chuk<\/strong> was evicted from the house in a vote of 9-1.<\/p>\n

Haley<\/strong> was the only person who voted to evict Barrett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

CBS has confirmed when the Big Brother<\/em> finale<\/a> will air this year.<\/p>\n
