Hallmark\u2019s Paris Is Always a Good Idea<\/em> found a way to surprise book and romance<\/a> fans alike with a shocking wedding twist.<\/p>\n

The first three episodes hinted that Chelsea (Lacey Chabert<\/strong>) was reflecting on her love story while recording a voice message on what appeared to be her wedding day. The fact that she was speaking to Knightly (Scott Michael Foster<\/strong>) further teased that he was likely the groom on the big day.<\/p>\n

However, the newest episode<\/a>, which premiered on Thursday, August 13, revealed that Chelsea might not actually be preparing to walk down the aisle to Knightly. In fact, her voice message concluded with her seemingly hinting that things went awry for the fan-favorite couple.<\/p>\n

There was also the fact that the wedding was taking place at a castle owned by Chelsea\u2019s presumed-ex Marcos, which further confused viewers thinking they knew where the series was heading.<\/p>\n

Chabert is excited for the audience to go through \u201ca little bit of a mystery.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

Chabert continued: \u201cSo to wrap up everyone\u2019s story line, I think it\u2019s a really satisfying ending because it really does wrap up and the story lines come full circle in a way that I think our audience will love.\u201d<\/p>\n

Based on Jenn McKinlay<\/strong>\u2018s book of the same name,<\/a> Paris Is Always a Good Idea<\/em> follows nonprofit executive Chelsea, who goes to Paris with rival Knightly to secure a donation. Through a message from her late mother \u2014 and support from her family \u2014 Chelsea decides to revisit three past loves across Ireland, Paris and Spain.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t answer for the book fans, but I do think they will be happy with this adaptation,\u201d Chabert said about how the limited series brought McKinlay\u2019s novel to life.<\/p>\n
