Next Gen NYC<\/i>\u2019s Gia Giudice<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is defending Ariana Biermann<\/span><\/a><\/strong>\u2019s flirty connection with Charlie Zakkour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI did know everything that was going on. I think it was kind of that normal thing that you go through after a breakup, where you\u2019re like, let me explore all my options,\u201d Gia, 25, exclusively shared with Us<\/i> on Wednesday, August 12. \u201cThere was no malicious intent behind it. It was really her just being like, \u2018I\u2019m out here. I\u2019m single. I\u2019m hot,\u2019 and she\u2019s getting attention from all these guys. And I mean, who doesn\u2019t love attention?\u201d<\/p>\n

This season on Next Gen NYC<\/i><\/span><\/a>, cameras have rolled as Ariana, 24, adjusted to her new single life after breaking up with Hudson McLeroy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Although the Bravo star has been spending time with new cast member Liam Obergfoll<\/strong> in recent episodes, viewers learned on Wednesday\u2019s show that she\u2019s also been flirting with Charlie, 31.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was just exploring,\u201d Gia explained. \u201cAnd you know, I think you\u2019ll come to see where that brought her, and how she felt about it. But I think it was all just newly single energy and just exploring.\u201d<\/p>\n

During Wednesday\u2019s episode, Charlie opened up about his relationship status with Ariana to close friend Shai Fruchter<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Despite previously telling Hudson, 24, that he has \u201cno intention\u201d of sacrificing his friendship for Ariana, Charlie admitted things have taken a turn.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Ariana] came out of the gate saying, \u2018I wouldn\u2019t touch him with a 10-foot pole. If anything, that triggers me to be like, \u2018Well, look at how wrong that was,\u2019\u201d Charlie said. \u201cObviously, that\u2019s a shot at my ego, and I want to defend it.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI think my friendship, flirtation, whatever with Ariana is perfectly genuine. If anything, I\u2019m trying to hide the details of it from the show. Not the other way around. She\u2019s reluctant to play ball in front of the cameras, but she\u2019s going to be extra reluctant to play ball in front of Liam.\u201d<\/p>\n
