Paris Jackson<\/a>, 28, has revealed she and siblings Prince, 29, and Biji, 24, only got to enjoy the fun occasionally as a reward for working hard because the attractions were there to be used by those less fortunate.<\/p>\nAppearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Paris – who was homeschooled – said of Neverland: “I didn\u2019t grow up there. It was only the first few years of my life that I was there, and I\u2019d wake up and I\u2019d go to school.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019d wake up and we\u2019d go to the room that was our classroom. We\u2019d go to school and the cool, very congruent line throughout my childhood that kind of started there and just continued on wherever we went was, ‘If you\u2019re good and you do your chores and you do homework and you do the things that you\u2019re supposed to do, then on the weekends you can go see some animals and you can go ride some rides and you can go to movies.’<\/p>\n

“It was made very, very clear that all of the attractions there were not for us. That did not belong to us. That was for underprivileged children and children that were terminally ill that couldn\u2019t go to Disneyland, and that continued on even when we were, because at one point we wouldn\u2019t stay in one place for more than a year and we\u2019d hotel hopped a lot, and so it was\u2026 if we\u2019re living in Vegas and it\u2019s like, ‘Okay if you\u2019re good, you can go to Circus Circus on weekends,’ or like we were like some random place in Virginia. ‘If you\u2019re good, we can go to Chuck E. Cheese this weekend.’ “<\/p>\n
\nAnd Michael, who died in 2009 aged 50, was strict when it came to screen time for his brood.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “We weren\u2019t allowed to watch television or movies and stuff either unless we were studying it for film with the sound off or it was on the weekends if we had done everything we were supposed to do.”<\/p>\n
\nParis and Prince’s mom is Michael’s second wife Debbie Rowe but she wasn’t a fixture in her children’s lives until they were in their teens, and the Zombies in Love singer revealed they bonded very quickly.<\/p>\n
\nParis said: “I remember kind of asking about it when I was probably around 10 or 11 and the answers I got were sufficient to me. Just like, ‘Oh, what\u2019s her name?’ And I got told her name and like, ‘All right, cool,’ and we connected when I was about 15 and then really started getting closer towards like my end of teen years and things like that.”<\/p>\n
\nAsked if she felt nervous before meeting Debbie, she said: “I don\u2019t really remember. I remember coming downstairs and she was in the living room with my grandma. I was like, ‘Hey mom,’ and she was like, ‘Hi.’<\/p>\n
\n“I sat down, we talked for a second and we went out for the day and just hung out. <\/p>\n
\n“I mean, she\u2019s a Sag. She\u2019s got the fire. I\u2019m an Aries. I\u2019ve got the fire. We\u2019re very similar. I think what\u2019s really cool about my process just in general in all things is learning how expectations kind of f*** us up and if I walk into a relationship with expectations, probably gonna end up being maybe disappointed or frustrated or irritated or a resentment will be born or something, you know? <\/p>\n
\n“And when I walk into something and I don\u2019t have expectations, it creates this really cool space for something organic to just blossom.”<\/p>\n
