Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/strong><\/a> wasn\u2019t banking on so much sex when she checked into the city for a cameo on And Just Like That<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The actress and comedian, 64, appeared as a nun who ends up losing her virginity to Cynthia Nixon<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s Miranda Hobbes in the season 3 premiere<\/a> of the Sex and the City<\/em><\/a> spinoff. But according to O\u2019Donnell, filming an intimate postcoital moment in bed together was \u201chorrifying.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was so nervous!\u201d O\u2019Donnell shared on the \u201cGood Hang With Amy Poehler\u201d<\/a> podcast on Tuesday, August 11.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, I love her. I love her and have so much respect for her,\u201d O\u2019Donnell said of Nixon. \u201cShe called me and she was like, \u2018Ro, Tufayel Ahmed Michael Patrick<\/strong> [King<\/strong>] wrote you a scene and it\u2019s with me. Will you do it?\u2019 I said, \u2018Of course I\u2019ll do it with you.\u2019 And then I read it and I\u2019m in bed with just the sheets and then I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, my God.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In an interview with Grazia published on Monday, May 26, Nixon says she watched all six seasons of the iconic HBO series before reprising her role as Miranda Hobbes in the spinoff And Just Like That.\u00a0 Nixon, 59, thought that 90 percent of the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

O\u2019Donnell continued, \u201cI was nervous with Cynthia and then Michael said, \u2018You guys can be a little bit more\u2026\u2019 and I was thinking, \u2018I can\u2019t, really!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe kissing wasn\u2019t hard, but the laying in bed and the wanting us to act like we had just done it \u2026 I\u2019m a little immature when it comes to that,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

In June 2025, Nixon, 60, revealed how her good friend\u2019s And Just Like That<\/em> cameo came about.<\/p>\n
