Jason Sudeikis<\/strong><\/a> hopped on stage with Mumford & Sons<\/strong><\/a> during their concert at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday night (August 11) in New York City. <\/p>\n

The 50-year-old actor surprised the audience as he joined the band to perform the theme song to his hit show, Ted Lasso<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, which recently premiered it’s fourth season! <\/p>\n

If you didn’t know, lead singer Marcus Mumford<\/strong><\/a> wrote and performs the Apple TV series’ theme song with composer Tom Howe<\/strong>. <\/p>\n

According to The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>, about halfway into the Mumford & Sons<\/strong> concert, the camera panned to a special guest in the crowd, Jason Sudeikis<\/strong>, and he was just nodding his head to the music before smiling and running on stage to finish the song. <\/p>\n

Later in the show, Marcus<\/strong> told the crowd to quiet down, “or I’m going to tick Ted on you.”<\/p>\n

Season four of Ted Lasso<\/em> premiered last Wednesday (August 5), and new episodes will be rolling out weekly on Apple TV through October 7th. <\/p>\n

In the new episodes, “Ted (Sudeikis<\/strong>) returns to Richmond, taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women\u2019s football team. Throughout the course of the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”<\/p>\n
