Steven McBee Jr.<\/strong><\/a> had an ominous feeling about his relationship with now-ex Allie Eklund<\/strong><\/a> on the latest episode of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/em><\/a> ahead of their April split.<\/p>\n \u201cFor me, in my mind, long distance is the kiss of death for relationships,\u201d Steven, 33, said in a confessional on the Monday, August 10, episode of the Bravo series after revealing that Allie, 29, was leaving Missouri to live with her sister in Texas.<\/p>\n Allie, meanwhile, admitted that the \u201cwhole situation is really tough for me.\u201d<\/p>\n She said, \u201cI love Steven and I care about him deeply. We\u2019ve just had a whirlwind of a few months and I need a second really to digest it all.\u201d<\/p>\n Allie got emotional in the car as Steven drove her to the airport after the then-couple had spent the last two months together.<\/p>\n \u201cI told my family I\u2019m coming back home. I told my sister I was going to live with her. I had all these prior commitments,\u201d she said in a confessional. \u201cThen obviously I meet my dream guy and I don\u2019t want him to be upset.\u201d<\/p>\n Allie took a beat before confessing, \u201cI feel like we are moving quickly, almost in survival mode and it\u2019s worrying me a bit. I\u2019m hoping this move back to Texas and this space will allow us to slow down a little bit.\u201d<\/p>\n She added, \u201cIf it\u2019s meant to be, this move shouldn\u2019t affect our relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n Steven admitted in his own confessional that he didn\u2019t know \u201chow we ended up on separate pages like this,\u201d noting their relationship hit a bump in the road after he met her family around Thanksgiving 2025 \u2014 and then they got in their first real fight<\/a> the next month.<\/p>\n \u201cI thought we were on the same track,\u201d he mused. \u201cLooking back on it now, I think the smarter move would have been to not come on so strong or not start out so hot and heavy.\u201d<\/p>\n While driving Allie to the airport, he called their romance \u201ca whirlwind<\/a>,\u201d saying it was \u201cbittersweet\u201d to see her go now that they\u2019d grown so close.<\/p>\n Despite feeling out of sync with Allie when she left Missouri, Steven told his brothers later in the episode that he wanted to move to Texas to give her all of his attention.<\/p>\n He also teased that he needed to start saving up for a ring, asking a jeweler if they had a \u201cyellow gold\u201d diamond in stock. (Steven exclusively told Us<\/em><\/a> last month that he \u201cdid not buy the ring,\u201d saying it was partly because of the \u201cfinancial component.\u201d)<\/p>\n Four months after the episode filmed in December 2025, Steven and Allie made headlines when he accused the influencer of cheating on him<\/a> at Stagecoach Music Festival in April.<\/p>\n Allie publicly denied the allegations and shared controversial messages<\/a> that Steven allegedly sent her in the heat of the moment with her followers \u2014 once again raising eyebrows among fans.<\/p>\n Steven later apologized for his texts, exclusively telling Us<\/em> in May that he felt the messages were \u201ccruel and degrading<\/a>\u201d in hindsight.<\/p>\n In July, Allie exclusively told Us<\/em> that she didn\u2019t need closure after the way Steven handled the end of their relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I realized that it was a pattern [on his part] and it wasn\u2019t circumstantial, this was really just the icing on the cake for me. And it was it. There\u2019s no conversation to be had, no closure left,\u201d she explained. \u201cLike, that\u2019s closure enough for me. And when he asked me to have a conversation, a closure conversation, I denied it because there\u2019s when your actions and your words don\u2019t line up. There\u2019s nothing that I can do with that. So, you know, I wish him the best from afar.\u201d<\/p>\n Since their messy breakup, both Allie and Steven have told Us<\/em> that they are not focused on dating anyone new.<\/p>\n \u201cI would love to find someone in Texas, and a lot of Texas boys are cowboys. So they are not off the table for me. We\u2019ll see,\u201d Allie cheekily told Us<\/em> of her dream man<\/a>.<\/p>\n
