Ewan McGregor<\/a>, Maisy Stella and Christian Convery in The End of Oak Street, the new sci-fi survival film, and Anne has revealed the survival skill she learned through the shoot.<\/p>\nAnne, 43, told People: “You know, in hindsight, I was thinking about what\u2019s the most important survival skill that you can have, and I think it\u2019s a sense of humour.<\/p>\n
“If you can do cool things, and you know how a Swiss Army knife works, that\u2019s definitely going to be helpful. You can build a fire, that\u2019s awesome.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
“But the thing that\u2019s really going to get you through is being able to laugh, I think.”<\/p>\n
\nEwan, on the other hand, recalled learning something more practical.<\/p>\n
\nThe actor quipped: “Always have a sledgehammer at the ready. It\u2019s always important. I keep one under my bed now, just in case. Yeah, a sledgehammer is very useful.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Ewan jokingly added: “A sense of humour is a much better answer!”<\/p>\n
\nMeanwhile, Anne recently revealed that she’s relished her jam-packed work schedule in 2026.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress has starred in a host of big-budget movies already this year, including Mother Mary, The Devil Wears Prada 2, The Odyssey and The End of Oak Street – but Anne has embraced the busyness of it all.<\/p>\n
\nShe told The Hollywood Reporter: “When I got my schedule for this year from all the wonderful film studios that I\u2019ve worked with, I saw it and I kind of thought I was being punked.<\/p>\n
\n“But then they showed me that no, no, no, all these [release] dates were going to hold and I just said as long as audiences don\u2019t get sick of my face \u2014 which I wouldn\u2019t blame them, I would not blame them if they did \u2014 let\u2019s go.”<\/p>\n
\nThe actress is currently promoting The End of Oak Street, which was written, co-produced, and directed by David Robert Mitchell, and Anne feels proud of the project.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: “It\u2019s David Robert Mitchell in the director\u2019s chair, directing a script that he wrote, and I\u2019ve never seen anything like this so I was just really happy to be a part of it.”<\/p>\n
