Three months after an undisclosed \u201cmedical complication\u201d<\/a> left him hospitalized, Jamie Foxx<\/strong> is not only back in action, but boating, too. In a video obtained by TMZ<\/a> over the weekend, the Oscar winner can be seen waving, tossing up a peace sign, and speaking to fans from a boat on the Chicago River. Foxx, who appears to be onboard with several other guests, tweeted<\/a>, \u201cBoat life,\u201d on Sunday before plugging his bourbon brand and writing, \u201cStay blessed!\u201d<\/p>\n This was the first public sighting of Foxx since his hospitalization, which lasted for several weeks. In early May, he thanked fans for their well wishes<\/a>, writing \u201cAppreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed\u201d on his Instagram page. Days later, Radar Online ran a post claiming<\/a> that Foxx\u2019s closest friends and family were \u201choping for the best\u201d but \u201cpreparing for the worst,\u201d and alleging that he had not yet been discharged. Foxx\u2019s daughter Corinne Foxx<\/strong> slammed the speculation<\/a> by sharing one of her father\u2019s recovery hobbies. \u201cUpdate from the family: \u201cSad to see how the media runs wild. My dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating. In fact, he was playing pickleball<\/a> yesterday!\u201d she wrote on her Instagram story. \u201cThanks for everyone\u2019s prayers and support!\u201d<\/p>\n It was Foxx\u2019s eldest who initially shared news of Foxx\u2019s emergency in an April 12 Instagram post post<\/a>. \u201cWe wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery,\u201d reads the post on behalf of the Foxx family. \u201cWe know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n At the time of his medical complication, Foxx was in Atlanta shooting the movie Back in Action,<\/em> a Netflix comedy starring Foxx and his Annie<\/em><\/a> costar Cameron Diaz<\/strong> (in her first feature film role in almost 10 years<\/a>). He was also preparing to shoot the sixth season of his Fox game show Beat Shazam<\/em> (he\u2019s been temporarily replaced by Nick Cannon<\/strong>).
