Joe Amabile<\/strong><\/a> has shared an update after undergoing brain surgery. <\/p>\n

The 40-year-old The Bachelorette <\/em>and Bachelor in Paradise<\/em> alum revealed a few weeks ago<\/a> that doctors discovered “a blueberry-sized lesion” on his brain and he was going to have to have surgery.<\/p>\n

On Friday (August 7), Joe<\/strong> shared a post on Instagram, featuring photos of him in the hospital with a bandaged head following the surgery. <\/p>\n

“They got it all!” he positively captioned the post. <\/p>\n

One of the photos also featured him and his wife of four years, Serena Pitt<\/strong>, holding hands. <\/p>\n

Serena<\/strong> also shared her thanks to the hospital team, along with photos from their hospital stay. <\/p>\n

“A few peaceful moments from the hospital,” she wrote in the caption<\/a>. “Incredibly grateful to the team at NYU Langone Health for their endless patience, care, compassion, and kindness these past few days. Joe is home recovering, and we\u2019re so grateful to have been in such good hands.”<\/p>\n

Joe<\/strong> previously shared<\/a> that the results of his scan that led to the lesion finding was one of those things you don’t think will ever happen to you.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s one of those things where you\u2019re like, \u2018Oh, something like this never happened to me,\u2019 and here I am,\u201d he said. \u201cThey say it\u2019s really early stages. I hope they are able to get it all, and I\u2019m fine. But I will keep you updated.\u201d<\/p>\n
