Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a> has another number one album on her hands! <\/p>\n

The 33-year-old pop star dropped her new album, petal<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, just over a week ago, and it just debuted at the top of the Billboard<\/a> 200 albums chart. <\/p>\n

This marks the seventh No 1 album of her career. The only LP that didn’t go No 1 was her third album, Dangerous Woman<\/em>, which peaked at No 2 in 2016.<\/p>\n

petal<\/em> launched with 250,000 equivalent album units earned in the US, marking her biggest week in the 2020s, and her biggest week by pure album sales in over a decade!<\/p>\n

Ariana has now tied for the fifth-most leaders on the Billboard 200 among solo women, alongside Janet Jackson<\/strong> and Lady Gaga<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Following the album going No 1, Ariana<\/strong> took to her Instagram<\/a> story to celebrate and thank fans. <\/p>\n

“thank you from the bottom of my heart,” she wrote in one post. <\/p>\n

In another, she reposted a graphic that stated petal<\/em> was No 1 on the Billboard 200, No 1 top album sales, and No 1 top streaming albums. “overflowing,” she wrote, with a heart emoji and “:’)”<\/p>\n

Ariana<\/strong>‘s latest chart achievement comes after she wrapped the North American leg<\/a> of her The Eternal Sunshine Tour<\/em>. She is next set to head to London for a 10-show run at The O2 Arena, starting August 15th.<\/p>\n
