Tim McGraw<\/strong><\/a> and Faith Hill<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s daughter Gracie McGraw<\/strong><\/a> opened up about the effect Ozempic had on her.<\/p>\n

Gracie, 29, took to her Instagram Story on Monday, August 3, to share that after she started taking Ozempic<\/a> in 2022 following her PCOS diagnosis, she initially \u201cthought it was the best decision [she] ever made.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI finally lost weight and got skinny,\u201d she wrote, per Page Six<\/em><\/a>. \u201cYes, it f***ing worked and made my PCOS symptoms easier to control, but it also brought back my ED and negative views on my body.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gracie went on to say that she got \u201cway too skinny\u201d on the weight loss drug. \u201cI realized, \u2018Holy crap, I have been feeding into my eating disorder<\/a> this whole time under the guise of this miracle shot.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Now, looking back, Gracie views Ozempic as \u201cone of the worst things\u201d she\u2019s ever done for herself. She also noted that she\u2019s no longer taking the injection and is gaining weight back.<\/p>\n

Gracie reflected on her Ozempic journey, sharing that she got \u201cmore opportunities\u201d when she lost weight than she \u201cever\u201d had before.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been called fat and ugly my entire life, whether that had been from magazines or the internet,\u201d she added, claiming that she was compared to her sisters, Maggie, 27, and Audrey, 24, because of the \u201cdifferent genes\u201d she had.<\/p>\n

While she is now \u201cdoing so good,\u201d Gracie got candid about still having \u201cslip-ups from time to time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving concern for someone doesn\u2019t also mean you can\u2019t have empathy for their situation,\u201d Gracie added, shutting down body-shamers. \u201cBut telling people to not speak on this is incredibly wrong and damaging. It\u2019s promoting created thinness as [a] goal, not as danger. We are at a time when we need to be taking care of ourselves and our people.\u201d<\/p>\n
