Jason initially attempts to make sense of the family\u2019s confinement, but the situation becomes a long-term test of his ability to protect Ann, Ruth, and Graham.<\/p>\n

Wagner<\/strong> previously starred in Netflix\u2019s Narcos<\/em> and Narcos: Mexico<\/em>. Most recently, he earned acclaim for his performance in The Secret Agent<\/em>. He became the first Brazilian to be nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor for his role in the 2025 film.<\/p>\n

A third actress is also credited as Ruth: Arden Cho<\/strong><\/a>, who provides the voice of the character as an adult. Arden<\/strong> does not appear onscreen. Netflix viewers will likely recognize Arden <\/strong>as the voice of Rumi in the massively popular animated movie KPop Demon Hunters<\/em>. She also stars in the live-action Avatar: The Last Airbender<\/em> on Netflix and led the Netflix series Partner Track<\/em>. Before that, she played Kira Yukimura on Teen Wolf<\/em>.<\/p>\n
