Leon Brown<\/strong>, the former Sister Wives<\/strong><\/a><\/em> star and child of Kody Brown<\/strong><\/a> and ex-wife Meri Brown<\/strong>, is speaking out about their childhood and what it was like being on the TLC reality show as a kid.<\/p>\n

Leon<\/strong>, who is now 31 years old, uploaded a video to TikTok on Tuesday (August 4) to share their experience, recalling how their family consisted of “four parents and two older siblings” when they first moved to Wyoming. Leon<\/strong> was 3 when they relocated and they remained there until they turned 10. <\/p>\n

Leon Thomas says they were “in a cult” during their time on Sister Wives<\/h3>\n

“We were in a cult then,” Leon <\/strong>said in the TikTok, noting that there weren’t many other kids their age around them.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was really shy and really fearful as a child, so I didn\u2019t really know people outside of the cult,\u201d Leon<\/strong> continued. \u201cWe were homeschooled until we moved to Utah when I was 10. And then we started going to the same church, a cult church, in Utah. At that point, it got a little bit more all-encompassing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their days were organized around “church school,” which took place on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. They went to “primary on Thursdays, and Leon<\/strong> described it as “religious indoctrination for children.”<\/p>\n

On going to church school and learning about religion<\/h3>\n

Leon<\/strong> shared that they loved primary school and loved “learning about Jesus” and “church history.” <\/p>\n

\u201cI think there\u2019s some religious scrupulosity there. It was rewarding, and I was rewarded for it. So I\u2019m not actually sure if I like it or not. Who\u2019s to say?\u201d they continued before concluding, “This is weird because I don’t talk about this a lot.”<\/p>\n

Leon<\/strong> also said the video was the first of several in the caption, adding, “This story will take many forms and be in many parts, but here’s a start. Thanks for listening & being respectful.”<\/p>\n

Kody Brown’s ex-wife Christine Brown Woolley previously said she believed she had raised her children in a cult<\/h3>\n

Christine Brown Woolley<\/strong><\/a>, who had six kids with ex-husband Kody<\/strong>, wrote that she believed she “grew up in a cult,” and raised her children in a cult in her 2025 memoir Sister Wife: A Memoir of Faith, Family, and Finding Freedom<\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Even before I believed we were in a cult, some of my kids figured it out as young adults. I had taught them not to live in fear,” Christine<\/strong> wrote.<\/p>\n

Christine <\/strong>also made another shocking revelation about her relationship with Cody <\/strong>last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n
