Britney Spears<\/strong><\/a> has shared an emotional new post in which she shares “mistakes” she believes she has made as a mother. <\/p>\n

The 44-year-old singer posted a photo of her sons Sean Preston<\/strong><\/a> and Jayden<\/a><\/strong> to her X account<\/a> alongside a lengthy statement. She starts by saying her kids were once “secretly taken to a beach by my mom and dad” when they were children. <\/p>\n

Britney <\/strong>also spoke about her “demoralizing” relationship with her parents. <\/p>\n

\u201cI wondered why I wasn\u2019t a part of their cool secret outings,\u201d Britney <\/strong>shared. \u201cI felt demoralized to live in a country where it was accepted for people like my mom and dad to live secret lives with my children\u2026 I honestly went to my knees and cried for two months.\u201d<\/p>\n

Britney <\/strong>also said she spoke with one of her sons, who told her, “it was all science he didn’t personally believe in God.”<\/p>\n

She added that she prays “every day of my f–king life” and felt deeply saddened by that.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn that moment I believed I had failed as a mother because I know there is a Holy Spirit that sits high in the kingdom of heaven \u2026 I\u2019ve been there I\u2019ve felt it \u2026 I wanna to tell my kids and people in general that I\u2019m sorry for my mistakes in the past,” the “Toxic” singer wrote.<\/p>\n

\u201cI used to be unbelievably intelligent and 100 percent I was brainwashed into an ignorant system where every goddamn person took advantage of me,\u201d she continued. \u201cI miss the excitement in my eyes being alive when I was younger, always so eager to please and hungry for life. I was unbelievably passionate about everything.\u201d<\/p>\n
