The family feud<\/a> in the Beckham household shows no signs of abating. So much so that Victoria and David Beckham\u2019s eldest son, Brooklyn<\/a>, has made an important decision in agreement with his wife, Nicola Peltz. According to sources who spoke to The Sun,<\/em> the couple has decided to no longer publicly celebrate the anniversary of their first wedding<\/a>\u2014yes, the one with 500 guests in Palm Beach at her parents\u2019 ultra-luxurious estate. It was April 2022, and apparently even the thought of it makes the couple uncomfortable. That\u2019s why, according to sources at The Sun<\/a>,<\/em> Brooklyn and Peltz will henceforth publicly celebrate the date of their vow renewal\u2014which took place in August 2025, without his family present\u2014as their wedding anniversary. The two exchanged anniversary wishes<\/a> on August 5. (Vanity Fair<\/em> has reached out to Brooklyn and Peltz, as well as Victoria and David, for comment.)<\/p>\n The Beckham scion, Brooklyn, wrote, in an Instagram post showing he and Peltz embracing with wine glasses in hand while dressed casually: \u201cHappy anniversary Nicola. I can\u2019t tell you how much I love you. You are my best friend and I love you more than life itself. I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife. You are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you.\u201d<\/p>\n In Peltz\u2019s post<\/a>, she wrote, \u201cHappy anniversary, my love. You make my life so beautiful. Thank you for being the most amazing husband I could ever dream of.\u201d<\/p>\n Incidentally, neither of them exchanged any anniversary wishes last April, supporting the idea that that day in 2022 isn\u2019t a moment they want to remember. (Reportedly, the bride even ended up in tears<\/a>.) In January, in an official statement, Brooklyn said he felt anxious and embarrassed when his mother, Victoria, allegedly sabotaged the newlyweds\u2019 first dance. The situation grew tense when the former Spice Girl allegedly<\/a> called her son \u201cevil\u201d after she disapproved of the seating arrangement. Two of the grandmothers were seated with the couple, while the parents were at the table adjacent to them\u2014equidistant to avoid jealousy and hard feelings.
