The 39-year-old actor has escorted by a crew member as he arrived on set of Army of Shadows<\/strong><\/em> on Thursday afternoon (August 6) in Liverpool, England.<\/p>\n

Kit <\/strong>showed off his fit physique in a white tank shirt under a charcoal-colored suit as he filmed scenes for the new thriller series at town hall.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the week, Kit<\/strong>‘s co-star America Ferrera<\/strong><\/a> was seen in a black suit as she arrived on set to film a few scenes.<\/p>\n

The upcoming Channel 4 series is inspired by Jean-Pierre Melville<\/strong>\u2019s 1969 movie and Joseph Kessel<\/strong>\u2019s seminal book of the same name, which famously dramatized the emergence of the French Resistance to the Nazi occupation of France during World War II.<\/p>\n

Here’s the synopsis, per The Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em>:<\/p>\n

\u201cBritain looks almost normal, but the flags are different, the news is careful, and nobody says certain things out loud anymore. But everyone can feel it. Somewhere beneath the surface of ordinary life, something has gone terribly, quietly wrong. Out of the shadows emerges a former soldier known only as Berry, who starts building a secret resistance network. He knows one thing above all else: don\u2019t act before you\u2019re ready. An unlikely group starts to coalesce around him \u2014 people who\u2019ve decided they can\u2019t look away any longer: a soldier, a student, a radiographer, a journalist. Ordinary people, with ordinary lives, making an extraordinary and irreversible choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Against them is a state with unlimited reach, a minister who\u2019ll do whatever it takes to maintain order, and an American operative called Jessie (Ferrera), who is \u201cvery, very, good at her job.\u201d Army of Shadows <\/em>pegged as a \u201ctense, propulsive thriller about what resistance actually costs\u2026 If your country were occupied, what would you<\/em> do?\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
