Bones<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, the popular procedural television show, ended in 2017, but renewed interest in the show has fans wondering if, or how, the series could ever be rebooted.<\/p>\n Series creator Hart Hanson<\/strong> spoke to Variety<\/em><\/a> in a new feature, sharing if there\u2019s actually talk of a revival, or it\u2019s just mere hope.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n According to Hart<\/strong>, a reboot isn\u2019t totally out of the picture.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are in contact with each other,\u201d he says of keeping up with the cast. \u201cEverybody on Bones<\/em> is in contact with each other. At separate times, it\u2019s like, \u2018What are you doing? What\u2019s the availability?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n However, he also notes that bringing back the show would be a legal battle, all due to the Disney-20th Century Fox merger.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s complicated now because Fox broadcast Bones<\/em>, but Disney now bought 20th, so they own [the show]. It would take a million agents and lawyers to figure out who owns what and what platform it would show on,\u201d he says. \u201cBut we do keep talking. And every once in a while, we are all nostalgic enough to think, \u2018Maybe we should do it again.\u2019 Who knows? Maybe this will bump-start us.\u201d<\/p>\n While there\u2019s talk, it\u2019s a known fact that it wouldn\u2019t happen without Emily Deschanel<\/strong><\/a> and David Boreanaz<\/strong><\/a>, who led the show for 12 seasons, alongside Tamara Taylor<\/strong><\/a>, T.J. Thyne<\/strong><\/a>, Michaela Conlin<\/strong><\/a> and John Boyd<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have heard that they would not not <\/em>be game, which is a step,\u201d Hart <\/strong>added. \u201cThe actors are going to say the truth, which is it depends on what it is, the scripts, what it looks like, if it feels right.
