Best Medicine<\/em> is returning for season 2<\/a> on Fox \u2014 but is every cast member coming back to the show?<\/p>\n

The show follows a doctor who moves from Boston<\/a> to a small practice in the East Coast fishing village where he vacationed as a child. In addition to Josh Charles<\/strong>, the cast includes Josh Segarra, Abigail Spencer, Cree Cicchino, Annie Potts, Didi Conn, Clea Lewis, Stephen Spinella, Jason Veasey, Cindy De La Cruz, John DiMaggio, Carter Shimp<\/strong> and dog Wattson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe way that [executive producer] Liz Tuccillo has structured the show, every episode we have a great star come on and they get to do something delightful \u2014 and maybe something you\u2019ve never seen them do before,\u201d Spencer exclusively told Us<\/em> in January 2026. \u201cI would say what I particularly loved about the show was that it is a great opportunity for some of our more seasoned actors in the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of roles across ages where I\u2019m like, \u2018God, we could get so many great actors to come.\u2019 I loved that.\u201d<\/p>\n
