Tom\u2019s brother Sam is said to have been the best man for the occasion, while the special day also incorporated a red and blue lights display in reference to the actor\u2019s Spider-Man role. <\/p>\n
\nIt was the speeches that formed the most emotional part of the occasion, however. <\/p>\n
\nA source told the newspaper: \u201cThe ceremony was so beautiful and romantic. Tom and Zendaya aced their speeches as well \u2014 they were both very funny but also very emotional.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThere wasn’t a dry eye in the house. They’re incredibly hard-working and lovely people, and this stunning\u00a0wedding has capped off an amazing year for them.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nGuests played croquet and even had a pool party in the days surrounding the wedding, according to the insider. <\/p>\n
\nRumours of the pair\u2019s wedding first emerged when AI-generated pictures of the reported nuptials emerged – with the images so realistic that it was claimed some of Tom\u2019s family members feared they had missed the special day. <\/p>\n
\nHowever, during an interview with Esquire UK, Tom was asked about those rumours, at which point he denied the claims, and said relatives weren\u2019t worried they\u2019d missed the nuptials because \u201cthey were all there\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cThat\u2019s all you get on that!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nTom also used the interview to open up about his love for his wife, as he said: \u201cOur business can present very stressful situations, and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo, for me, I\u00a0found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.\u201d<\/p>\n
