For the past two seasons of the beloved Netflix show My Life With the Walter Boys<\/em>, Ashby Gentry<\/strong> has been navigating an onscreen love triangle with costars Nikki Rodriguez<\/strong> and Noah LaLonde<\/strong>. Now his character, Alex, has found himself in another tricky dynamic \u2014 this time, with a different love interest.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s love triangle hopping, love triangle maxing to put it in 2026 vernacular,\u201d Gentry, 27, exclusively quipped to Us<\/em> ahead of the Thursday, August 6, season 3 premiere on Netflix.<\/a><\/p>\n

Warning: Spoilers below for season 3 of My Life With the Walter Boys.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

In season 3, Alex moved on from Jackie (Rodriguez)<\/a> amid her on-again, off-again romance with his brother and brooding bad boy Cole (LaLonde) and wound up catching feelings for longtime best friend Kiley (Mya Lowe<\/strong>). One problem? She is currently in a relationship with Dylan (Kolton Stewart<\/strong>), who ultimately asks Alex to take a step back from his friendship with Kylie. Alex, however, attempted to confess his feelings to Kylie but was met by an unreceptive Dylan, who literally \u2014 and figuratively \u2014 shut the door in his face.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s funny because I watched that scene and I was like, \u2018Oof!\u2019 And then I thought, \u2018Well, that\u2019s what you get,\u2019\u201d Gentry admitted to Us<\/em>. \u201cLike the scene beforehand, he says, \u2018Yes, I will stay away from your girlfriend.\u2019 And then five seconds later, \u2018Knock knock knock.\u2019 I\u2019m like \u2018Alex, what are you doing?\u2019 I would slam it in his fingers too. So I can\u2019t fault Dylan there.\u201d<\/p>\n

From Gentry\u2019s perspective, Alex would be counting his lucky stars if he could move forward with Kylie after that interaction.<\/p>\n
