An important part of that process is allowing them to safely return home and begin rebuilding a sense of security and normalcy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Perez\u2019s loved ones concluded with a plea for privacy, writing:<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"\/>\n<p>\u201cFor the children\u2019s safety, privacy, and well-being, we respectfully ask members of the media, paparazzi, content creators, and the public to leave the area surrounding the family\u2019s home and not return. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease allow his children the privacy and space they need during this unimaginably difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While we\u2019re sure everyone wants what\u2019s best for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/08\/what-will-happen-to-perez-hiltons-3-children-following-his-self-harm-incident\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Perez\u2019s three kids<\/a> \u2014 ages 13, 12, and 9 \u2014 many have pointed out that his family\u2019s plea for privacy is somewhat ironic.<\/p>\n<p>After all, Hilton made a name for himself as one of the most ruthless tabloid journalists in the game, often violating the privacy of celebrities in shocking fashion.<\/p>\n<p>One such celebrity was model Ireland Baldwin, who shared her feelings toward Hilton in a scathing Instagram Story:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPerez Hilton has [publicly] humiliated my family for years,\u201d Ireland wrote (via <em><a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/alec-baldwin-daughter-ireland-reacts-to-perez-hilton-hospitalization-after-his-unforgivable-treatment-of-her-12035063\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>). \u201c[He has] sexualized me from a young age, commented on my weight and body (as a child), made unforgivable comments about people in my family, drew j!zz [sic] coming out of my mom\u2019s and friend\u2019s mouths, and has always been a despicable human being.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She continued, \u201cBut his children deserve better and a healthy father and I am so sad for all of them. I hope he gets the help he needs and heals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While it\u2019s still unclear what may have caused the incident, insiders have indicated that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2026\/08\/perez-hilton-was-stressing-out-over-money-ahead-of-mental-health-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Hilton has been struggling financially<\/a> since relocating to Miami from Las Vegas earlier this year.<\/p>\n<p><em>If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
