Unexpected<\/em> <\/a>alum Hailey Tilford<\/strong> \u2014 known to fans of the reality series as \u201cHailey 2\u201d \u2014 is asking fans for help in paying for her fianc\u00e9 to reverse his vasectomy.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is probably one of the hardest things I\u2019ve ever posted, and honestly, I\u2019ve gone back and forth on it because I know not everyone is going to understand,\u201d Tilford, 25, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday, August 5. \u201cI know there will probably be judgment, and that scares me. But if I never put it out there, I\u2019ll always wonder, \u2018what if?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Tilford explained that before she met her fianc\u00e9, Zak, he \u201chad a vasectomy during a different chapter of his life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the time, it was the right decision for him,\u201d she continued. \u201cWhen we met, fell in love, got engaged and started building a life together. Somewhere along the way, we realized we both shared the same dream \u2014 to have a baby together. The only way that\u2019s possible for us is through a vasectomy reversal, and unfortunately, it\u2019s something our insurance doesn\u2019t cover. It\u2019s a huge expense, and after going back and forth for a long time, we decided to make a GoFundMe.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tilford added that it wasn\u2019t \u201ceasy\u201d to ask for help and encouraged readers to simply share the GoFundMe page<\/a> if they can\u2019t donate.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this isn\u2019t something you agree with, I completely respect that. I just ask that you be kind. \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d she concluded. \u201cThank you to everyone who\u2019s supported us, prayed for us, and continues to cheer us on. We appreciate you more than you\u2019ll ever know.\u201d<\/p>\n

The GoFundMe page, titled \u201cA Second Chance at Growing Our Family,\u201d has raised $147 out of $7,900 at the time of publication.<\/p>\n

In the page\u2019s description, Tilford added that \u201cwatching Zak be a father has been one of the greatest joys of my life.\u201d (Zak has two children from a previous relationship, while Tilford shares son Levi with ex Matthew Blevins<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

\u201cSeeing the love, patience, and care he gives not only his children but Levi too has made me admire him even more,\u201d Tilford wrote. \u201cWe would love the chance to experience that journey together and welcome a little one who is a part of both of us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Tilford appeared to disable comments on her Instagram page after she received backlash for the GoFundMe page. She then shared a follow-up post slamming her critics.<\/p>\n

Our kids are very well taken care of and the fact you all think we couldn\u2019t afford to raise another child is sad. There is a huge difference between raising a child and needing almost $8000 upfront.\u201d<\/p>\n
