Hilary Duff<\/strong><\/a> is giving her fans a huge surprise!!<\/p>\n

During Night One of her two sold-out shows at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night (August 5), the 38-year-old singer\/actress brought out her ex-boyfriend Joel Madden<\/strong><\/a> and his Good Charlotte<\/strong><\/a> band for a surprise performance.<\/p>\n

Hilary<\/strong> and Good Charlotte<\/strong> performed the band’s hit 2002 song “The Anthem.” <\/p>\n

If you forgot, Hilary<\/strong> and Joel<\/strong>, 47, dated over two decades ago from 2004 to 2006. The two have remained friendly and they now often hang out with their spouses<\/a> – Hilary<\/strong>‘s husband Matthew Koma<\/strong><\/a> and Joel<\/strong>‘s wife Nicole Richie<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Back in June, Hilary<\/strong> kicked off her The Lucky Me Tour<\/em>. During her off days, her husband Matt<\/strong> has been performing with Good Charlotte<\/strong> on their tour.<\/p>\n

Hilary<\/strong> will once again be performing for another sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden on Thursday, August 6. She\u2019s heading to Europe in September, as well as New Zealand and Australia in October before heading to Canada early next year with her final shows in Mexico in February 2027.
