Carmen Electra was married to the basketball star<\/p>\n

The 54-year-old actress was married to the NBA icon for a year in the late 90s, and Carmen has now admitted that it wasn’t “the best choice” she’s ever made.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Us Weekly, the actress explained: “I could definitely say marrying Dennis Rodman<\/a> could have been, like, not the best choice.<\/p>\n

“I mean, it was just difficult because he had people working for him that at that time were really weird, and they assumed that everyone was out for his money. And I had my own money. I wasn\u2019t out for Dennis Rodman<\/a>\u2019s money.”<\/p>\n

Carmen suggested that she simply wasn’t ready for married life at that point in time.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress – who became a sex symbol in the 90s – said: “By that time, I had been working with MTV, Baywatch. \u2026 I was working a lot. I was living in a really nice condo in Beverly Hills at the time that I paid for. Independent queen. <\/p>\n

\n“I believe in that. I think that honestly, like, you\u2019ve got to look at life that way.”<\/p>\n

\nCarmen previously opened up about her whirlwind romance with Dennis, revealing that they once made love on a basketball court.<\/p>\n

\nThe actress – who married the sports star in Las Vegas in 1998 – admitted that they were like “two kids in a candy store” at one point in time.<\/p>\n

\nCarmen – whose marriage to the basketball player ended in 1999 – told the Los Angeles Times newspaper: “One day when the Bulls had an off day from practising, Dennis said he had a surprise for me.<\/p>\n

\n“He blindfolds me and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we’re standing at the Bulls practice facility, centre court.<\/p>\n

\n“It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place – in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court.”<\/p>\n

\nCarmen – who previously played Lani McKenzie in Baywatch – jokingly added: “To be honest, I don’t think he’s ever worked out so hard in his life.”<\/p>\n
