While his third solo album comes out on August 21st, Flowers doesn’t know how much longer he can be an artist.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy dad goes to yard sales, where he buys frames to take home and paint,\u201d he says. \u201cHe\u2019s never had any money in his life and he\u2019s happier than I am.\u201d<\/p>\n
Flowers wonders why he does it, and says he gets sick after each tour. He also wonders what motivates Mick Jagger (83) to keep performing.<\/p>\n
Lest we forget the synth-y album that The Killers scrapped in 2023 because it didn’t feel authentic<\/a>.<\/p>\n
He says The Killers’ songs fill the concert seats, but he’s most comfortable making music heard on 2021’s Pressure Machine.<\/p>\n
He’ll be doing a solo tour this fall.<\/p>\n
