\n\u201cWhile I don\u2019t rule out adoption in the future, for me it was important to have kids with my DNA. My dad passed away when I was 15 and having my children is a way of him living on through them \u2014 literally.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hilton wrote about how much he \u201clove[s] being a dad more than anything else\u201d and \u201cworks hard at it,\u201d explaining, \u201cI have my hands very full changing diapers and taking kids to swim class. And I wouldn\u2019t have it any other way!\u201d<\/p>\n
He announced the birth of his first child, a son named Mario, in February 2013.<\/p>\n
\u201cI am ready to announce that earlier this month I was blessed with the birth of my first child, a beautiful and healthy baby boy \u2014 with lots of hair on his tiny head,\u201d he wrote on his website at the time.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy family is overjoyed at this newest and most cherished addition,\u201d Hilton continued. \u201cI am so humbled to welcome this little man into my life. And I am honored and ready for the challenge of guiding him through his.\u201d<\/p>\n
In May of 2015, Hilton welcomed his second child, daughter Mia Alma.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is with great pride and relief that I can finally announce: I am a dad again!\u201d he\u00a0captioned the newborn\u2019s Instagram debut<\/a>\u00a0at the time.<\/p>\nIn October 2017, Hilton\u2019s third child, Mayte, joined the family.<\/p>\n
She \u201cwaited until 41 weeks to make her fashionably late arrival,\u201d Hilton explained at the time.<\/p>\n
For obvious reasons, concerns about Hilton\u2019s kids are widespread this week. We hope that whatever else unfolds in the days to come, his children\u2019s material and emotional needs are being met.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
