Keke Palmer<\/strong><\/a> is following in Carson<\/b> Daly<\/strong>\u2018s<\/a> footsteps for a new edition of The Voice<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n

NBC officially announced The Voice: Celebrity<\/em> on Tuesday, August 4, with Palmer, 32, hosting the latest addition to the fan-favorite franchise. Daly, 53, will serve as a producer.<\/p>\n

Joe Jonas<\/strong> will make his debut as a coach on the singing competition alongside Queen Latifah<\/strong> and Riley Green<\/strong>, who will also appear on season 30 of The Voice<\/em> this fall.<\/p>\n

Like the original series fans have come to know and love, The Voice: Celebrity<\/em> will search for undiscovered talent \u2014 this time from actors, musicians,\u202finfluencers,\u202fathletes, comedians and reality stars \u2014 to crown one champion at the end of the competition.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Voice quickly became a success after it debuted on NBC in 2011, with Carson Daly as host and a group of successful coaches ready to find the next superstar. Kicking off the first season, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green and Adam Levine filled the coaches\u2019 chairs, each bringing their different expertise to the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The new series marks an unprecedented first as Daly has hosted The Voice <\/i>for all 30 seasons over the last 15 years. The NBC hit kicks off its milestone 30th season<\/a> on Monday, September 30, where Daly will emcee alongside returning coaches Adam Levine <\/b>and Kelly Clarkson<\/b>, as well as newcomers Latifah andGreen.<\/p>\n

After 28 seasons as host, Daly was given a special \u201cCarson Callback Card\u201d to give one artist who didn\u2019t receive any chair turns in the Blind Auctions a redo. He bestowed the honor on rocker Ryan Mitchell<\/b>, who ultimately made it on Team Reba McEntire<\/b>. (Aiden Ross<\/b> from Niall Horan<\/b>\u2019s team, however, won the trophy.)<\/p>\n

\u201cWe started a new twist,\u201d the former TRL <\/i>personality said on the Today<\/i><\/span><\/a> <\/i>show <\/i>in September 2025. \u201cI had the ability to give one of our artists a second chance. This season \u2026 there was a young man who caught my eye when he went out there. [He] was so close to getting a chair turn, [but] nothing happened; he didn\u2019t make it. I still knew Ryan Mitchell deserved the first-ever \u2018Carson Callback Card.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

In addition to The Voice<\/i>, Daly also coanchors Today <\/i><\/a>and hosts his own radio show.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Voice<\/i> is an anomaly. I mean, that\u2019s great, but you can\u2019t live your life in this business buying into that,\u201d he told Vulture<\/span><\/a> in 2012 of staying busy amid the singing show\u2019s success. \u201cI hope The Voice <\/i>has a fifteen-year run, don\u2019t get me wrong, but I come from nothing, and maybe it\u2019s the Irish in me, but my attitude is always like, \u2018They\u2019ll figure me out soon. Always assume the worst, and hope for the best.\u2019 That\u2019s like my living motto.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Voice is back for its milestone season. The singing competition series kicked off in the U.S. in April 2011 after being inspired by the Dutch program The Voice of Holland. As four musicians coach their team of artists throughout the season, one winner goes home with a whopping $100,000 prize and a record deal [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Daly noted at the time that he had pitched NBC \u201ca bunch\u201d of other gig ideas amid popularity of his late-night show, Last Call With Carson Daly<\/i>, which was eventually canceled in 2019 after 17 seasons.<\/p>\n
