Perez Hilton<\/strong><\/a> has been taken to the hospital after police responded to his Miami home<\/a> following calls of concern on Tuesday (August 4). <\/p>\n

The 48-year-old celebrity blogger was livestreaming on social media and appeared to be harming himself, leading to multiple calls to the police. <\/p>\n

In a previous statement<\/a>, the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office said they “tactically disengaged while continuing to monitor the situation and providing the needed support to his family.” <\/p>\n

Now, the sheriff’s office has confirmed that Perez <\/strong>has been transported to the hospital, where he will receive medical attention. <\/p>\n

“The individual has been safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention,” a spokesperson for the MDSO shared with TheWrap<\/a><\/em>. “The Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals are also on scene providing support and resources to the individual\u2019s family.” <\/p>\n

Perez<\/strong>‘s managers, Golden Artists Entertainment Co-CEOs\u00a0Dante Rusciolelli<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Rebekah Kochan<\/strong>, also released a statement with TMZ<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n

We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client,\u00a0Perez Hilton<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez<\/strong>‘s health and well-being, as well as the well-being of his family. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further.<\/p>\n

We appreciate everyone’s concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

The livestream video has since been taken down from his TikTok account, which has also been suspended, per TheWrap<\/em>. <\/p>\n
