Heated Rivalry<\/em><\/a> creator Jacob Tierney<\/strong> shared a message for fans who might encounter the cast and crew in the middle of filming for season 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cTo our incredible fans and everyone who\u2019s been sharing in the excitement for the show: Your support, enthusiasm, and kindness have meant the world to us,\u201d Tierney, 46, wrote in a Tuesday, August 4, statement shared via his production company, Accent Aigu Entertainment, and official Heated Rivalry<\/em> Instagram<\/a> accounts. \u201cAs we gear up for more Heated Rivalry, please help us in making it the best it can be.\u201d<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cIf you happen to come across one of our filming locations, please give our cast and crew the space they need to do what they do best. We promise it\u2019ll be worth the wait!\u201d<\/p>\n

The message was signed by the \u201cHeated Rivalry<\/em> Family.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHeated Rivalry breakout star Hudson Williams has been on the receiving end of messages from closeted athletes since his show became a pop culture sensation. \u201cIt\u2019s definitely the people who reach out, somewhat anonymously, who are like, \u2018I\u2019m still a professional player still, and I\u2019m still in the closet,\u2019\u201d Williams, 24, told Andy Cohen on [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Heated Rivalry took the world by storm in November 2025 as Tierney, who directed, created and wrote the series, introduced Us<\/em> to fictional hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, played by Hudson Williams<\/strong> and Connor Storrie<\/strong>, respectively. The romance show, which is based on author Rachel Reid<\/strong>\u2019s Game Changer<\/em> series<\/a>, follows the hockey players who were rivals turned lovers<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The series was an instant hit and turned Williams and Storrie into overnight sensations. Heated Rivalry<\/em> was instantly renewed.<\/p>\n

Heated Rivalry<\/em> season 2 just kicked off filming in Toronto as Storrie and Williams were spotted out and about in the city. Photos of the pair have circulated on social media.<\/p>\n
