Stephen Baldwin<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about his decision to leave mainstream Hollywood behind at the height of his fame.<\/p>\n

The 60-year-old Usual Suspects<\/em> star told People<\/a><\/em> in an interview published Monday (August 2) that he “didn’t want to be Tom Cruise<\/strong><\/a>” and “have to make $100 million at the box office.”<\/p>\n

More than 20 years ago, Stephen<\/strong> chose to reconnect with his faith alongside his wife Kennya Baldwin<\/strong>, whom he shares daughters Alaia Baldwin Aronow<\/strong>, 33, and Hailey Baldwin Bieber<\/a><\/strong>, 29. <\/p>\n

According to him, his wife said she had spoken to their housekeeper, Augusta<\/strong>, who predicted Stephen <\/strong>and Kennya <\/strong>“would become born-again Christians and have our own ministry.”<\/p>\n

Despite his initial skepticism, Stephen <\/strong>did start to become increasingly interested in Christianity and found his own ministries.<\/p>\n

\u201cJesus is my rock,\u201d he shared. \u201cMy wife is my anchor. I\u2019ve had the most amazing life and I\u2019m only 60. I\u2019m so blessed. I\u2019m just waiting for more doors open that I\u2019m supposed to walk through.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nowadays he focuses on producing Christian films for young audiences and he has a podcast called One Bad Movie<\/em>, where he talks to actors about the worst film they’ve made or the worst experience they’ve had on set.<\/p>\n

Stephen<\/strong> has spoken about how proud he is of daughter Hailey<\/strong> in the past<\/a>.<\/p>\n
