Rosie O\u2019Donnell<\/strong><\/a> is getting candid about her weight loss journey with Mounjaro.<\/p>\n

The former talk show host, 64, who has lost around 60 pounds in three years<\/a> after being prescribed the weight-loss drug, revealed her dosage on the Monday, July 27, episode of the \u201cBleep! With Ana Navarro\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, I [did] the lowest dose for a year \u2026 2.5 [milligrams],\u201d O\u2019Donnell explained to podcast host Ana Navarro<\/strong>. \u201cThen I did a year at 5, and now I\u2019m just finishing a year at 7.5.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell said she plans to increase her dosage \u201cone more time\u201d and then doesn\u2019t plan to increase it again.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRosie O\u2019Donnell surprised fans in May 2025 by revealing a positive update on her weight loss journey \u2014 which she credited to using the medication Mounjaro. The injectable drug (also known as tirzepatide) is similar to Ozempic and Wegovy in that it is used primarily to treat diabetes, but can also be effective in weight [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

According to the comedian, she was very conscious about increasing her Mounjaro dosage in small increments to feel her best.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to go slow because I know that it overwhelms me when I have lost [weight] quick before and everyone\u2019s reaction,\u201d she said. \u201cI like doing it at a slow pace. I like how it feels that I\u2019m not sick, that I\u2019ve never had any kind of side effects.\u201d<\/p>\n

O\u2019Donnell\u2019s revelation that she\u2019s never experienced side effects was a surprise to Navarro, 54, who questioned, \u201cYou\u2019ve never had to run to the bathroom?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNever,\u201d the actress responded. \u201cBut again, I did a year on 2.5. The doctor kept saying, \u2018I want you to go up,\u2019 and I\u2019m like, \u2018I\u2019m fine as it is.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tRosie O\u2019Donnell went under the knife earlier this year for a procedure that she swore she would never get. \u201cI used to feel very strongly about facelifts,\u201d O\u2019Donnell, 64, wrote in a lengthy poem titled \u201cDecisions\u201d and shared via her Substack on Monday, May 25. \u201cNot casually \u2014 morally. I had assigned myself as head [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this month, O\u2019Donnell revealed how Mounjaro, which is prescribed to treat type 2 diabetes and\/or weight loss, has been beneficial for her after struggling with her weight following her mom\u2019s death in 1973.<\/p>\n
