Jamie-Lynn Sigler<\/a> has led tributes to Vincent Pastore following his death aged 80. <\/p>\n

Jamie-Lynn Sigler pays tribute to Vincent Pastore<\/p>\n

The Sopranos star was found dead in his apartment in The Bronx, New York, on Saturday (01.08.26) by a neighbour, after not being heard from for three days, according to Deadline. <\/p>\n

After his death – believed to be due to natural causes – was confirmed, his famous friends were quick to pay tribute, with Vincent\u2019s The Sopranos co-star Jamie-Lynn leading the way. <\/p>\n

In a post on her Instagram Stories, she wrote: \u201cA wonderful actor, a kind and loving man. It was an honour to know you and work with you.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Michael Imperioli<\/a>, another of Vincent\u2019s co-stars on The Sopranos, also offered up a tribute to the late actor, who was most famous for playing Tony Soprano\u2019s best pal Salvatore ‘Big P****’ Bonpensiero in the programme. <\/p>\n

\nHe wrote: \u201cOur beloved friend and collaborator Vincent Pastore has passed away. This is a hard one for us, it seems like I\u2019ve known Vinny forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\u201cWe did lots of work together and traveled all over the USA as well as Italy and Australia.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nMichael, who played Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos, continued the post to remember \u201clots of laughs\u201d and \u201cgood times\u201d with Vincent, as he concluded: \u201cVinny was a kind hearted brother who cared deeply about his family and friends. I will miss him always.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nAfter news of Pastore\u2019s passing was made public, his manager Bob McGowan said in a statement: \u201cVinnie was a great guy, he would help anyone and was very charitable.\u201d <\/p>\n

\nPrior to becoming an actor, Pastore fought in the Vietnam War. However, he later graduated from Pace University with a degree in drama. He initially found fame with minor roles in mob movies such as Goodfellas and Men of Respect, but then took on larger roles in 1995 feature The Jerky Boys: The Movie, and HBO TV movie Gotti the following year.<\/p>\n

\nIn Gotti, he appeared alongside Tony Sirico, Frank Vincent, and Dominic Chianese – all of whom would become co-stars once again when he starred in The Sopranos. <\/p>\n

\nVincent\u2019s other TV credits include multiple appearances on Law Order, as well as starring roles in shows such as Hawaii Five-0 and Queen Supreme. <\/p>\n

\nHe also appeared on multiple reality TV shows in the 2000s, including Celebrity Apprentice, Dancing With the Stars and Celebrity Fit Club.<\/p>\n

\nVincent is survived by his daughter Renee.<\/p>\n
