Amy Schumer <\/b><\/a>is soaking up the summer in a bikini<\/a> \u2014 and she wouldn\u2019t have it any other way.<\/p>\n

\u201cI never knew there would be days like this,\u201d Schumer, 45, wrote via Instagram<\/span><\/a> on Saturday, August 1, sharing swimsuit snaps while lounging on a luxury boat. \u201cNo filter as per ushe [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n

For the occasion, Schumer sported a floral-print bikini top with coordinating beige-colored bottoms. She paired her look with pink, oversized sunglasses and tied her signature blonde tresses into a ponytail.<\/p>\n

The comedian has recently been open about her weight loss journey, using GLP-1 medications to slim down. (Controversial drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy are commonly prescribed to individuals struggling with weight loss conditions related to diabetes, with doctors warning patients from use for casual weight loss.)<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAmy Schumer has been candid over the past couple of years about her experience using weight loss drugs on her health journey. In March 2025, Schumer explained that three years ago she tried GLP-1 medication Wegovy \u2014 and did not have a pleasant time on it. \u201cI was puking. I couldn\u2019t handle it,\u201d Schumer said [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThree years ago, I tried Wegovy. I was puking, I couldn\u2019t handle it. I don\u2019t know if they\u2019ve changed the formula, whatever,\u201d Schumer began a March 2025 social media video,<\/span><\/a> addressing her wellness journey. \u201cI went [to] this Telehealth meeting with Midi Health, and it was cheap. I wanted to try it myself \u2018cause I wanted to recommend it to my friends who are nurses and teachers. They put me on estrogen and progesterone because I realized I was in perimenopause and my symptoms from being perimenopause have disappeared.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued, \u201cMy hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy, I want to get down more, if you know what I mean. I\u2019m talking about sex. So that\u2019s been great and Mounjaro\u2019s been great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Since then, Schumer has lost approximately 50 pounds.<\/p>\n
