The 35-year-old actress tied the knot with Cody John at his family\u2019s ranch in Idaho recently, with her famous father Eric notably absent from the ceremony. <\/p>\n
Eric released a statement following the nuptials, telling the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column, Eric said: “I love my daughter, always have, always will. <\/p>\n
\u201cIt is perfectly wonderful for her to celebrate however she wants, with whomever she wants.” <\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
Now photographs from the special occasion, published by Vogue, have revealed that Emma\u2019s five-year-old Rhodes stepped in to walk her down the aisle in her dad\u2019s absence. <\/p>\n
\nIn one snap, Emma was seen holding onto her son\u2019s arm as they made their way down the aisle to meet her 36-year-old husband-to-be at the bottom. <\/p>\n
\nShe shared the image on her own Instagram page, as she captioned it: \u201cA picture is worth a thousand words \u2014 and in this case, a million.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEmma shares Rhodes with her former partner Garrett Hedlund. <\/p>\n
\nDespite the fact that Eric wasn\u2019t at the wedding, Emma was joined by other relatives – including her famous aunt Julia Roberts – at the special occasion. <\/p>\n
\nPrior to the big day, guests joined the happy couple at a rehearsal dinner held at the iconic Roundhouse restaurant on top of Bald Mountain – with attendees riding up the mountain by gondola. <\/p>\n
\nShe told Vogue of the evening: \u201cAll of the guests took a gondola up to the top. I rode up with Cody, my mom, and my son Rhodes, which was such a nice moment of calm before stepping into the party. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cEveryone left with a L.L. Bean goodie bag customised with \u2018hitched\u2019 on the side with a Wythe custom hat inside. It was so fun to see people sporting both the rest of the weekend. Some even at the wedding!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nEmma added to the magazine that the wedding itself felt as though it was \u201cout of a book\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cI feel like I\u2019m always in a rush,. All my friends are always in a rush. My family, we\u2019re always in a rush, so to feel like people really got off their phones, were present, and that everybody I love was in one room, I can\u2019t even capture the feeling of that. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI couldn\u2019t have dreamed it better.\u201d<\/p>\n
