She starred in the 1995 movie <em>Tank Girl<\/em>. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Impossible<\/em> was filmed in 2010 and released in theaters in 2012. The movie was based on a true story of a family who were separated during the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami while vacationing in Thailand for the Christmas holiday. <strong>Naomi <\/strong>earned an Oscar nomination for her performance and the film put <strong>Tom<\/strong> on the map, with him signing on to play Spider-Man just three years later. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Spider-Man: Brand New Day<\/em> is now in theaters and it has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.justjared.com\/2026\/07\/31\/spider-man-brand-new-day-breaks-record-for-biggest-thursday-preview-gross-of-all-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">already broken a box office record<\/a> after just hours of being available for the public.
