Jennie Garth is disappointed Tori Spelling has quit their podcast<\/p>\n
The two actresses – who starred on all 10 seasons of the show from 1990 to 2000 as Kelly Taylor and Donna Martin respectively – launched 9021OMG back in 2020 but on the latest episode, co-host Amy Sugarman confirmed Tori will no longer be part of the podcast, leaving Jennie disappointed she isn’t going to “finish this out with us”.<\/p>\n
Noting it had been “100 percent” Tori’s decision to leave, Amy said: \u201cAs everyone knows, Tori has not been here for a bit, right? She\u2019s not been doing the show for a bit for many reasons.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbout two weeks ago, she made the decision \u2014 which I\u2019m sure was a really, very tough decision for her \u2014 but she let us know about two weeks ago that she had decided she wasn\u2019t going to continue with the podcast.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t<\/p>\n
\u201cTwo things can be true: We can be really bummed, disappointed that she\u2019s not going to do seasons 9 and 10 with us, with you, while still wanting her to be happy and to be excited for her about the things she is working on and does want to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nJennie wishes Tori had decided to stay for their recap of the final two seasons of 90210.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cWe started it together, and I\u2019m sad about that, if I\u2019m being honest, which I always am. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut I\u2019m also really excited for the podcast to come into [seasons] nine and 10 because I know we have a lot of great stuff in store.<\/p>\n
\n“Also, I\u2019m really happy for her. I\u2019m excited for her to choose herself,\u201d she added, alluding to an iconic quote and moment for Garth\u2019s 90210 character that she has since embraced in her own life.”<\/p>\n
\nJennie reassured listeners she would be there until the very end and “can’t stop” now because it has been such a meaningful experience for her.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cThis has been the craziest awakening of remembering so many things in my life by watching the show back and getting back in touch with me \u2014 the person playing Kelly Taylor.<\/p>\n
\n“It\u2019s been this really great experience for me.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nJennie and Amy teased there will be “special guests”, including “guest co-hosts”, coming up on 9021OMG.<\/p>\n
