Drew Starkey<\/strong><\/a> says the ending of Outer Banks<\/strong><\/a><\/em> made him super emotional.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old actor who plays Rafe Cameron visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> for the Thursday night (July 30) episode and admitted he broke down in tears after he finished filming the fifth and final season.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was totally bittersweet. We spent seven years on that show and those are my best friends and I felt, the last couple months of filming, I thought I was fine,\u201d Drew<\/strong> said. \u201cI thought I was a sociopath. I was like, \u2018I feel nothing, I\u2019m ready to get out of here, I don\u2019t care.\u2019”<\/p>\n

But he says it hit him later on, during the “last shot” of his final scene. The second they yelled cut, Drew<\/strong> said he started crying.<\/p>\n

“I was just weeping. Like, constantly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Drew<\/strong> continued, \u201cI cried for a solid two hours and crew members kept coming up to me, I was like, \u2018I\u2019m good.\u2019 And then someone would walk up and I\u2019d [cry].”<\/p>\n

The Queer<\/em> star said “all these memories” came flooding back because he started the show when he was just 25 years old and is now 32, “so it was such a sentimental time.”<\/p>\n
