Clint Eastwood<\/a>, 96, the Oscar-winning director and actor behind classics including Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, Gran Torino, Dirty Harry and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. <\/p>\n \t\t\t<\/p>\n
Clint has also remained in the spotlight following the release of his latest directorial effort, Juror No. 2, which has continued to generate discussion about whether it will mark the final film of his directing career.<\/p>\n
\nSpeaking on The Joe Rogan Experience, Scott said: \u201cI just worked with somebody and, without saying any names, people get too famous for too long and think the world owes them something.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cThey decided after we\u2019d already spent a bunch of money that they just didn\u2019t want to work with this other person and didn\u2019t want to do the job.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was like, \u2018OK, then you need to pay that money back to the person who invested in you\u2019. They were like, \u2018I\u2019m not gonna do that\u2019.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nScott said the individual then left the production altogether.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cIt was their directorial, their story, their thing. And it was just like, bro, you took money from somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nDescribing the incident, Scott added: \u201cIt\u2019s black and white. Do the right thing. Don\u2019t be a piece of s***. You can\u2019t do that.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019ve seen some behavior in this business that is shocking. That would not go in other industries, but for some reason because they\u2019re stars, right?\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe also described the entertainment industry as \u201creally ugly\u201d behind the scenes, while adding his passion for filmmaking remains unchanged.<\/p>\n
\nScott said: \u201cI love telling stories and when we\u2019re doing a creative endeavor and you move people, whether you\u2019ll make them laugh, make them cry, whatever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nElsewhere in the podcast interview, Scott reflected on the work ethic instilled in him by Clint, saying his father approached filmmaking with discipline rather than celebrity.<\/p>\n
\nHe said Clint was \u201ca put-your-boots-on, go-to-work man\u201d who left his job \u201cat the door\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nScott has previously spoken about his father\u2019s advice during an interview with Treats! magazine in 2015.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cWhatever you do, do it well. Be humble, work hard and be a man.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nScott added Clint never pressured him to pursue acting.<\/p>\n
\nHe added his father \u201cdidn\u2019t care\u201d whether he became \u201ca plumber\u2026 or actor\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nScott also said: \u201cI didn\u2019t get in this to be famous. I grew up loving my father\u2019s work, loving movies and telling stories, wanting to be a part of that.\u201d<\/p>\n
