Ariana Grande<\/strong><\/a>‘s song “Like I Do<\/em><\/strong>” on the Petal<\/strong><\/a><\/em> album is part of the turning point in the tone of the album.<\/p>\n

The 33-year-old singer appears to be embracing her own power over a man on this song and she sure is finding her confidence. <\/p>\n

She sings on the first verse, “Keep my heels tall, my ego small, but I’m still Grande \/ I’m making cents off of your nonsense \/ All that sh-t talk keeps me well-fed \/ Through thick and thin, you’re so locked in \/ You hate to love me.”<\/p>\n

Ariana<\/strong> knows her power over the man in the chorus. <\/p>\n

She notes that the man “needs” her, because “no one f–ks you like I do.”<\/p>\n

The second verse appears to possibly be referencing the one the media and some fans are obsessed with her.<\/p>\n

“Stay on your mind like all the time \/ Yeah, you still watching from the sides \/ Yeah, you still, still show up first in line \/ Yeah, you act like all your love is mine,” she sings.<\/p>\n
