Ben Affleck<\/strong><\/a> just won Who Wants to Be a Millionaire<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n

The 34-year-old Oscar-winning star competed on the Wednesday (July 30) episode of the ABC game show, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong><\/a>. He was partnered on the show with Jeopardy!<\/em> champion Jame Ding<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the episode, the pair won the $1 million grand prize when they correctly answered the 15th and final question.<\/p>\n

The million-dollar question read: \u201cIn an annual Thanksgiving tradition, all but which of these have been the names of turkeys pardoned by a U.S. president?”<\/p>\n

The possible answers were A. Peanut Butter & Jelly, B. Tater & Tot, C. Mac & Cheese, or D. Spaghetti & Meatball.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou must be kidding me,\u201d Ben<\/strong> said after Kimmel <\/strong>read the question.<\/p>\n

After Kimmel <\/strong>reminded them that they still have their Ask-the-Host lifeline, Ben<\/strong> initially turned that down and suggested they use their other lifeline, Phone-A-Friend, to call Jamie<\/strong>‘s friend.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo. We might as well have Jimmy help,\u201d Ben<\/strong> decided, to which Kimmel<\/strong> joked, \u201cAlright, I don\u2019t have to give you any of my f–king thoughts, if you don\u2019t want.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cActually, you\u2019re very good with cooking and food, current events too,” Gone Girl<\/em> actor said. “Actually, you might know this.”<\/p>\n

“You\u2019re absolutely right,\u201d Kimmel<\/strong> said. \u201cI do a bit about this on the show. Every year.\u201d <\/p>\n

The late-night host said that while he wasn’t certain of the names, Spaghetti and Meatball definitely didn\u2019t ring a bell fro him.<\/p>\n

\u201cI could see me adding a big bowl in Donald Trump\u2019s hands and him slurping up the spaghetti and meatballs,\u201d he jokingly added. \u201cThat one sounds like it wasn\u2019t the one to me.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is the person that would actually be paying attention to every pardoned turkey\u2019s name,\u201d Ben<\/strong> said. \u201cProbably the best person in the world to ask this question to.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIf I\u2019m wrong, I\u2019m so sorry,” Kimmel<\/strong> said. “But Spaghetti and Meatball is my final answer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ben<\/strong> and Jamie <\/strong>thanked Kimmel<\/strong> for his help, but still decided to call up Jamie<\/strong>‘s friend, who told the pair to go with Kimmel<\/strong>‘s answer.<\/p>\n

They then locked in on Spaghetti and Meatball and won $1 million. Ben<\/strong> and Jamie<\/strong> both jumped up and down, hugging, and celebrating as confetti fell around them.<\/p>\n

The $1 million grand prize will go towards Ben<\/strong>‘s Eastern Congo Initiative, the first U.S.-based advocacy and grant-making organization dedicated to supporting the people living in the African region.<\/p>\n

If you didn’t know, exactly one year before Ben<\/strong>‘s win, his longtime BFF Matt Damon<\/strong><\/a> ALSO won Who Wants to Be a Millionaire<\/em>! On July 30, 2025, The Odyssey<\/em> actor and his partner, Jeopardy! <\/em>champion Ken Jennings<\/strong><\/a>, appeared on the game show where they also won the $1 million grand prize for charity.<\/p>\n

New episodes of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire<\/em> air on Wednesdays on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
