Hilaria Baldwin<\/a> has so many children that she frequently \u201cmiscounts\u201d them. <\/p>\n

The 42-year-old is mum to seven kids with husband Alec – Ilaria, Mar\u00eda, Eduardo, Romeo, Leonardo, Rafael, and Carmen – and is also stepmother to the actor\u2019s daughter Ireland. <\/p>\n

During an appearance on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer<\/a> podcast, Hilaria admitted that being mother to such a big brood means she can get confused about which of her kids she\u2019s addressing. <\/p>\n

She said: \u201cTrust me, I miscount them! I\u2019m that mom [when] like somebody\u2019s doing something, I\u2019m like, I go through all the other names and find I\u2019m like, \u2018You know, whoever you are, stop doing what you\u2019re doing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

\t\t\t<\/p>\n

Hilaria also spoke about her and Alec\u2019s different parenting styles during the podcast chat, explaining that she and her husband both wear different \u201chats\u201d. <\/p>\n

\nShe said: \u201cAlec and I are both extremely, extremely fiery. I know I\u2019m like the alpha parent. There\u2019s certain things that he knows he has to ask my permission for with them. You know what I mean? And so, it\u2019s like \u2018Oh, can they have this whatever.\u2019 And I\u2019m like, \u2018No. They cannot have this whatever.\u2019 [Or] \u2018Can they go?\u2019 \u2018No. They cannot.\u2019<\/p>\n

\n\u201cAnd then there\u2019s other things like our social schedule where, like, he gets to choose that more. So, like, we have, like, our hats that we wear.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nHilaria\u2019s podcast interview comes after Alec opened up to E! News about the most important thing he wants to ensure his kids grow up with. <\/p>\n

\nHe said: \u201cI want my kids to grow up having hope because right now it\u2019s more hopeless than I\u2019ve ever seen.<\/p>\n

\n\u201cI mean, kids have a latent learning curve. They get it. It might not be on the tip of their tongue for their daily rhetoric, but they get it. And … we\u2019ve got to continue to fight to prove to our children that you got to keep fighting. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cYou\u2019ve got to have hope, and you\u2019ve got to keep fighting to take the reins of power in our society and that responsibility, that awesome responsibility away, from people who are going to abuse it.\u201d<\/p>\n
