Margaret Cho<\/strong><\/a> is down to join Heated Rivalry<\/strong><\/a><\/em> season two!<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, the 57-year-old comedian and actress revealed the surprising reason why she turned down<\/a> playing Shane Hollander’s (Hudson Williams<\/strong>) mom, Yuna, in season one, but now, she’s offering an idea for her to join the second season.<\/p>\n

While attending the premiere of her new movie<\/a>, I Want Your Sex<\/em>, Margaret<\/strong> talked about turning down the show and was asked who she should play in season two. <\/p>\n

“An aunt,” she replied to Variety<\/a><\/em>‘s Marc Malkin<\/strong>. “I’ll be an aunt. I’ll be anything. You know, I would just love to be a part of it, the world of it.” <\/p>\n

“But also, I’m just so proud of their success,” Margaret<\/strong> continued. “I still own it. I act like I’m his mom anyway, so, it doesn’t matter.” <\/p>\n

When asked what she thought when she first read the script, she said, “I fell in love with it. I was just so moved, and I was so touched. I was really laughing, also. I’m just so excited about this hyper-masculine world, the queering of it. That’s what I want to see. So, I was excited about that.” <\/p>\n

Margaret<\/strong> isn’t the only actor to turn down a role in Heated Rivalry<\/em>. Earlier this summer, it was revealed that someone else had to turn down a role<\/a> in season two!<\/p>\n

Of course, Christina Chang<\/strong> was eventually cast as Yuna Hollander in the series, and she previously opened up about a scene<\/a> between her and Hudson Williams<\/strong> that was changed the day of filming. <\/p>\n

Christina<\/strong> also dished on her hopes for season two<\/a>, which is reportedly set to start filming in a couple of weeks.<\/p>\n
