Sophia Laforteza<\/strong><\/a> will not be performing with KATSEYE<\/strong><\/a> at an upcoming festival appearance.<\/p>\n

The “Gnarly” group’s community manager provided an update about the 23-year-old girl group member on their Weverse<\/a> account ahead of a planned performance at 2026 Hinterland Music Festival<\/em><\/strong> in Iowa.<\/p>\n

KATSEYE <\/strong>is due to headline on Thursday (July 30), along with acts like Lorde<\/strong>, Mumford & Sons <\/strong>and Kali Uchis<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

They will now perform as a 4 member unit, with member Manon Bannerman<\/strong> still on hiatus.<\/p>\n

We’re sorry to share that due to illness, Sophia<\/strong> will not be able to perform at the Hinterland Music Festival on Thursday, July 30. She is resting and focusing on her recovery. Daniela<\/strong>, Lara<\/strong>, Megan<\/strong> and Yoonchae <\/strong>will perform at the festival as scheduled.
