Khlo\u00e9 Kardashian<\/strong><\/a> has a touching birthday message for ex Tristan Thompson<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s younger brother, Amari.<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Birthday sweet Amari \u2665\ufe0f,\u201d the Kardashians<\/em> star, 42, wrote via Instagram<\/a> on Monday, July 27, alongside several throwback photos. \u201cSome people change the world with their words. You change it simply by being you. Your heart, your spirit, and your light say everything that words never could.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kardashian\u2019s post included multiple snaps of her, Amari and Thompson over the years from countless family gatherings. (Kardashian and Thompson, 34, dated on-and-off from 2016 to 2021 and share daughter True and son Tatum.)<\/p>\n

\u201cYou are one of God\u2019s gentlest reminders of what truly matters. Everyone who knows you is better because of you,\u201d she continued. \u201cThank you for reminding us every single day how we should be so completely grateful for the smallest of things and what unconditional love, joy, grace, resilience, and gratitude truly look like. \n\t\t\tKhlo\u00e9 Kardashian split with Tristan Thompson in 2021, but she has remained a part of his brother Amari\u2019s life in the years since. Amari, 19, suffers from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, a form of epilepsy that prevents him from being able to walk and talk. Kardashian, 41, grew close to him and the rest of Tristan\u2019s family [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Kardashian and Thompson called it quits for good in 2021, the reality star has remained close with the basketball player and his younger brother. Amari is nonverbal and suffers from Lennox-Gastaut syndrome and epilepsy.<\/p>\n

Kardashian\u2019s mom, Kris Jenner<\/strong>, also gave Amari a sweet shout-out on his birthday.<\/p>\n

Following the death of their mother in 2023, Thompson was granted legal guardianship of his sibling. During that time, Kardashian stepped in<\/a> to serve as a helping hand to her ex as he balanced taking care of Amari full-time alongside his basketball career. (Thompson, who has played for multiple NBA teams, retired in 2025 after a final stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who drafted him back in 2011.)<\/p>\n
