Alan Ritchson<\/strong><\/a> is finally breaking his silence on a fight with a neighbor.<\/p>\n

The 43-year-old Reacher <\/em>star made an appearance on Armchair Expert on Monday (July 27), where he went in-depth and provided context for a brawl involving his Tennessee neighbor earlier this year.<\/a><\/p>\n

Alan<\/strong> said he was \u201cputting along\u201d on his motorbike when he was allegedly confronted by Ronnie Taylor<\/strong> in front of himself and his kids on the street.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s when it got weird,\u201d he recalled, saying the man \u201ccame at [him] pretty aggressively” and that Alan <\/strong>could \u201csmell alcohol\u201d on the man’s breath before he received a \u201ctwo-hand shoved off the bike.\u201d<\/p>\n

“At that point, there\u2019s no conversation. I\u2019ve got to protect me and got to protect my kids and get us off the street safely, and that means getting the guy out of the picture. So I hit the guy,” he said.<\/p>\n

Alan <\/strong>said that he can’t go bike riding with his sons anymore because they got spooked and he \u201ccan\u2019t convince them to do it\u201d now.<\/p>\n

“My kids won’t ride with me anymore. He robbed me of that. Like f–k that, dude,” he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy wife, [Catherine \u201cCat\u201d Ritchson<\/strong>], was at a retreat. I had no way to contract her. I was the sole caretaker of my kids \u2026 calming them down, assuring them, \u2018I\u2019m not gonna get arrested, I don\u2019t think,\u2019 [with an] army of cops on my porch.\u201d<\/p>\n

He also revealed something that may have “saved [his] life”: a body camera he had bought the year before and wore for the first time that day.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf anything makes you go, \u2018Maybe God is real…if I hadn\u2019t had that, dude, I\u2019d probably still be in jail. The cops came to arrest me that day and they only had [a tape from a neighbor] to go off of. \u2026 [My video] changed the course of my life forever.\u201d<\/p>\n

“It was the scariest thing I’ve ever been through,” he admitted.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve never met that guy ever in my life. Never seen him before. He lied to TMZ about [telling us] the day before, \u2018Hey, buddy. Slow down.\u2019 None of that was true,” Alan<\/strong> went on to claim about the man, who has spoken out to the media while Alan<\/strong> has remained silent until now.<\/p>\n

After an investigation, it was determined that\u00a0Alan<\/strong>\u00a0was not the one who instigated the fight and that he had acted in self-defense.<\/a><\/p>\n
