Dylan Mulvaney<\/strong><\/a> is speaking out about recent comments made by President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The 29-year-old TikTok star and actress took to social media to share a new video on Sunday (July 26), reacting to being mentioned by the President “four times” in his speech at the rescheduled White House Correspondents’ Dinner<\/em> on Friday (July 24).<\/p>\n

During the event, after Kaitlan Collins<\/strong> was given an award for her work covering the administration, Trump<\/strong> commented on the reporter’s facial expressions, telling her to “just smile,” and compared her to Dylan<\/strong>‘s Bud Light ad a few years ago<\/a>. <\/p>\n

What Donald Trump said about Dylan Mulvaney<\/h3>\n

\u201cI thought Kaitlan<\/strong> had really made it big with a major new sponsorship, but then I informed her that it wasn\u2019t her on the Bud Light can, it was Dylan Mulvaney<\/strong>,\u201d he said, via People<\/a><\/em>.<\/p>\n

“Dylan Mulvaney<\/strong> cost Bud Light $35 billion in market cap,\u201d Trump<\/strong> claimed. \u201cThat was the worst commercial ever made by the way, for those few people who want to hear that. Most people don\u2019t care, but I would. I wouldn\u2019t want to hire Dylan<\/strong> any time soon.\u201d<\/p>\n

How Dylan Mulvaney reacted to Trump’s comments<\/h3>\n

In her video response, Dylan<\/strong> first congratulated Kaitlan<\/strong> on her award and shared, “I\u2019m incredibly honored to be compared to her in any way, and I hope that she keeps doing all the great work.” <\/p>\n

She then went on to talk about the President bringing up the three-year-old Bud Light video, which caused quite a stir among conservatives.<\/p>\n

“Mind you, I\u2019ve been kind of flying under the radar, keeping up a pretty low profile, just doing my little musicals, singing, dancing, and yet I am still his topic of conversation all these years later,” she said. “It seems to me that I might be like the one that got away for these men. I am permanently burned into their retinas. I am microchipped into their minds. When I first heard that the President put me on his diss track, I thought, ‘Well, that’s not good.’\u201d<\/p>\n

She then recalled recently being ghosted by someone, and how she learned from that experience that she shouldn’t want to be with someone who doesn’t want her, likening it to not being professionally supported by the Trump<\/strong> administration. <\/p>\n

“Maybe being publicly mocked and criticized by this administration is actually the greatest compliment of all, because it puts me in the company of some of the most brilliant, empathetic people in our world today. But I do still wonder, why is it so important to them that I don’t find success? What is it that I have that they don’t? Oh my god, freedom,” Dylan<\/strong> continued. “I am free in a way that they will never have the privilege to experience, and they want to use their power to take away my freedom. But what they don\u2019t understand is that my freedom has zero contingency on what they can provide for me, because my freedom is fully dependent on the moment that I acknowledged my real, authentic self and every day since, and sharing that with the world, it’s just icing on the cake.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThey don\u2019t want me to be able to share that,\u201d she added. \u201cBecause it would mean young people realizing that, if someone like me can be themselves and find success and freedom, then they can find success and freedom for themselves too.\u201d<\/p>\n

She then shared some action items “for us,” including supporting Trans and Non-Binary people.<\/p>\n

Earlier this year, Dylan<\/strong> made her Broadway debut<\/a> in SIX<\/em>, and even got to perform at the Tony Awards<\/em><\/a> last month!<\/p>\n
