Pamela Anderson<\/strong><\/a> is addressing the likelihood of one day donning her iconic red swimsuit<\/a> for Fox\u2019s Baywatch<\/em><\/a> reboot.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one\u2019s reached out to me. I don\u2019t know much about it,\u201d Anderson, 59, revealed to Deadline<\/em><\/a> in an interview published on Friday, July 24. \u201cI know that they were talking to my sons [Brandon Lee<\/strong> and Dylan Lee<\/strong>] at some point about producing, but I don\u2019t think they had a meeting of the minds. I\u2019m not sure what happened there, but I wish them well.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on, \u201cIt was a great job, and I loved going to work every day on the beach. I would have been there anyway. At the time, it taught me a lot, and it gave me worldwide exposure. Everything I\u2019ve done has led me to here, which is a blessing. But I have no plans of going back to Baywatch<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anderson skyrocketed to fame while starring on the classic \u201890s action TV series as lifeguard C. J. Parker. She last reprised the role for a cameo in Dwayne Johnson<\/strong> and Zac Efron<\/strong>\u2019s 2017 movie reboot.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAfter booking the lead role on Fox\u2019s Baywatch reboot, Stephen Amell broke his silence about possible cameos from OGs Pamela Anderson and David Hasselhoff. \u201cOf course we could [have them],\u201d Amell, 44, exclusively told Us Weekly at the Baywatch red carpet on Wednesday, February 18, after prospective actors auditioned for roles at an open casting [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Fox\u2019s latest incarnation of Baywatch<\/em> is led by newcomers Brooks Nader<\/strong>, Shay Mitchell<\/strong> and Noah Beck<\/strong>, though Anderson\u2019s \u201890s costars David Chokachi<\/strong>, Michael Bergin<\/strong> and Erika Eleniak<\/strong> will also reprise their roles from the classic show.<\/p>\n

Asked whether she was curious about what her character C.K. was up to now, Anderson replied, \u201cIf my kids were involved, I probably would have listened to them. I think I\u2019ve just got to keep on seeing what else is out there.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI get that there\u2019s a lot of really great TV out there right now, but I\u2019ve already done that. Now is my time to really play with different characters,\u201d she added. \u201cI don\u2019t want to just fill my time until the end of the year. I have options, and some things I\u2019m thinking about, including some theater again. I want to make really bold choices. I want to surprise people. I want to surprise myself. And so I\u2019m trying to do things I haven\u2019t done in the past.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress is now promoting the comedic thriller Rosebush Pruning<\/em>, in which she plays the matriarch of a wealthy, dysfunctional family. Her upcoming drama Place to Be<\/em> \u2014 starring opposite Ellen Burstyn<\/strong> and Taika Waititi<\/strong> \u2014 will premiere at the Venice International Film Festival in September.<\/p>\n
